This study examines the influence of work environment factors on the job performance of faculty members in private colleges in the Erode District of Tamil Nadu. The research investigates key elements such as physical work conditions, organizational culture, leadership, interpersonal relationships, and institutional support. Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 150 faculty members across various private institutions. The findings indicate a strong correlation between a positive work environment and enhanced job performance. Recommendations for institutional policy and management practices are provided to improve academic productivity and staff satisfaction.
