DUAL AXIS SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM WITH WEATHER MONITORING

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient renewable energy solutions has led to the development of intelligent solar tracking systems that optimize energy generation. This project presents a Dual Axis Solar Tracking System with Weather Monitoring, designed to maximize solar panel exposure to sunlight throughout the day and across seasons. Unlike fixed systems, the dual-axis mechanism enables continuous alignment with the sun’s azimuth and elevation, thereby significantly increasing energy output. The integration of weather sensors—including temperature, humidity, rainfall, and wind speed detectors—adds a layer of environmental adaptability, allowing the system to respond dynamically to changing weather conditions by adjusting panel orientation or entering a protective state. Controlled via a microcontroller platform (such as Arduino), this system combines mechanical precision with smart automation, offering a reliable, high-efficiency solution for modern solar energy applications.
